Let’s take a look at each of the quarterfinal matchups, including tip times, television coverage, betting odds, and a brief preview of what to watch for:

How to Watch #7 Tennessee vs. Syracuse

  • TV: ESPN2 | Streaming: ESPN App
  • Time: 2:30 p.m. ET  |  Location: Stan Sheriff Center – Honolulu, HI

#7 Tennessee vs. Syracuse FanDuel Odds

  • Spread: Tennessee -14.5 (-102) | Syracuse +14.5 (-120)
  • Moneyline: Tennessee (-1400) | Syracuse (+800)
  • Total: OVER 145.5 (-115) | UNDER 145.5 (-105)

Syracuse is an intriguing underdog with some serious talent on its roster. Their issues come mainly from the defensive end, where they have mightily struggled to string together stops against mid-major opponents. Judah Mintz and JJ Starling are a stud backcourt and make it worth checking out the Orange. Tennessee has looked the part of a national title contender throughout the start of the season, already with a win over Wisconsin under their belt. This team has depth and offense it hasn’t in the past, and it’s why they are rightfully the SEC favorite.

How to Watch #2 Purdue vs. #11 Gonzaga

  • TV: ESPNU | Streaming: ESPN App
  • Time: 5:00 p.m. ET  |  Location: Stan Sheriff Center – Honolulu, HI

#2 Purdue vs. #11 Gonzaga FanDuel Odds

  • Spread: Purdue -4.5 (-110) | Gonzaga +4.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Purdue (-192) | Gonzaga (+158)
  • Total: OVER 154.5 (-115) | UNDER 154.5 (-105)

Easily the matchup of the opening round, two of the most successful programs over the past five seasons face off in a blockbuster matchup. Freshman Braden Huff has been unbelievable for Gonzaga, setting up for an enticing matchup against Purdue big man Zach Edey in this one. The Boilermakers return plenty of talent and are primed to make a statement in Maui. Something to note: Gonzaga plays the fifth-least bench minutes out of any team in the country. Three games in three days could lead to severe fatigue for the Bulldogs.

How to Watch #1 Kansas vs. Chaminade

  • TV: ESPN2 | Streaming: ESPN App
  • Time: 2:30 p.m. ET  |  Location: Stan Sheriff Center – Honolulu, HI

No odds are available for this one as Chaminade is a non-Division I program, but it’s one of the best traditions in college hoops. The Hawaiian program has eight wins throughout the tournament’s history, but it is unlikely to make any noise here. The talent, depth, and coaching of this Jayhawks team are why they are tops in the sport, and it’ll surely be on full display against Chaminade.

How to Watch UCLA vs. #4 Marquette

  • TV: ESPN2 | Streaming: ESPN App
  • Time: 11:30 p.m. ET  |  Location: Stan Sheriff Center – Honolulu, HI

UCLA vs. #4 Marquette FanDuel Odds

  • Spread: UCLA +5.5 (-110) | Marquette -5.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: UCLA (+195) | Marquette (-240)
  • Total: OVER 140.5 (-110) | UNDER 140.5 (-110)

The nightcap is an intriguing one as Big East favorites Marquette enter after an exhilarating win over Illinois in the Gavitt Games. They have shown they have the toughness, leadership, and scoring to compete with anybody in the country. In typical Mick Cronin fashion, UCLA will look to make this one a slopfest. It’s another tough test for the Golden Eagles, but the superstar duo of Tyler Kolek and Kam Jones are as good as they come when needing a bucket.
