In cricket news: The anticipation for the 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is mounting as fans eagerly await the commencement of the action-packed cricket extravaganza. The tournament is expected to kick off on March 22. Although the official schedule is yet to be released by the BCCI, the IPL 2024 promises a riveting clash of talent and skill. The tournament is set to clash with the upcoming general elections. A total of 70 league matches and four playoff matches will be held including the two qualifiers, the eliminator and the final. From the star-studded squads across 10 teams, the IPL is geared up to deliver electrifying performances.

He posted on social media and said, “Whenever I wear Indian Jersey, it feels like I’m wearing it first time.” Rupinder Pal Singh said to The Indian Express, “I have seen him from the time he began his career, in the junior team, in the Hockey India League, and so on. Honestly, I am a fan of Harmanpreet, the way he has remained consistent and how he is there for the team every match 100 percent.”

As per the local media PRFM News, the footballer was still breathing after the incident and rushed to a local hospital, but died after suffering intense burns. The Royal Netherlands Football Association said in a statement that, after discussions with clubs, police, and municipalities, it “concluded that because of the expected weather conditions the safety of supporters and players cannot be guaranteed.”
