The Mexican national team has a new sponsor. José Romano, General Director of Sales of the Mexican Football Federation, announced the new commercial collaboration for a period of four years with Grupo Caliente, a company specialized in sports betting, official sponsor of the Mexican League and the 18 teams that make up the First Division .
“As a 100% Mexican company, which started eight years ago and we started with a team to see how we were doing, today we are in 18 teams, Liga MX and the jewel in the crown, the Mexican National Team. Today we are in an incredible moment, it’s the perfect moment,” said José Romano at a press conference.
Fernanda Sainz, Director of Digital Marketing at Caliente, said that, as Mexico will be a local in the next World Cup, this agreement comes at the “perfect moment” to mutually improve the two entities.
“In 2026, we played at home and Caliente is Mexico’s local brand. What better opportunity to start the construction that starts today and ends in 2026 and with an eye on the future. We like to give benefits, to be able to make that perfect dumbbell like Mexicans who bet on sport for the National Team and football,” said Sainz.
This trade agreement will make its debut next Sunday, March 26, when Mexico takes on Jamaica in the Concacaf League of Nations match. This match will also be the first coached by Diego Cocca as coach of the Mexican national team.
Founded in 2014, Caliente offers sports betting, live betting, online casino games, bingo and poker. Therefore, the bettor has a wide variety of markets with an extensive selection of sports at his disposal. Football fans can enjoy odds on matches ranging from Liga de Mexico to other major leagues in the world such as La Liga, Premier League and more.
